Tynings Lane Church is one of 4 Anglican worship centres which make up the parish of Aldridge. We are Church of England and are within the Anglican Diocese of Lichfield.
We believe in the saving mercy of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, knowing Him as our Lord, our friend, our strength. We long to see others come to know him too and seek to serve the community in His name.
We love welcoming new people to the church so whether you’re ‘just looking’ at the Christian faith or ready to ask some deeper questions, the doors are open for you to come and join us on this adventure with God.
There are various groups and activities throughout the week – see the other pages on this site.
As well as the activities, there’s also various areas of service for people to get involved in – music ministry, pastoral visiting, refreshments rota, gardening and countless others. Have a word with the minister if you are interested in helping.
We hope you find Tynings Lane Church to be a place where you can develop a very special relationship with God – and become part of a loving community.
We're excited about worshipping God together tomorrow at the Killock at 10:30am, why not come and join us? We know it's going to be a bit warm, we would have loved to have built a pool to help us cool off but we've had enough of water after the flood, so we're stocked the freezer with some good refreshments for the end of the service instead.
On Sunday we asked the church to put aside some time to pray today (and for those who are able to think about fasting). There is a lot going on in our community at the moment and we want to spend time taking all of that to God. So today, if you can, take some time to pray, pray some of the 'impossible prayers' we prayed about on Sunday. You can do it on your own, you might even want to grab a friend and pray together, but take time to come before God and to share all that's happening and listen to what He is saying. If you feel unable to pray right now but would like something prayed about feel free to leave a comment or to send us a message.
