What's On : Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

Thy Kindgom Come 2021 begins on Ascension Day, the 13th May, and lasts until Pentecost, the 23rd May. At Aldridge Parish Church we are encouraing a number of ways in which you might like to take part. Here's Janet to explain it:

The ways we're engaging with Thy Kingdom Come as a church are set out below. There are also lots of other resources on the Thy Kingdom Come Global website.

Prayer Walk Around Aldridge

The rector writes:

One slightly chilly Sunday morning in March there wasn't a great deal of enthusiasm in our house for online church and so we decided as a family to go on a prayer walk instead. We'll upload a map here nearer to 13th May, when Thy Kingdom Come starts, showing where we stopped and the sort of things we prayed for. Please feel free to adapt it and use it as a Thy Kingdom Come prayer walk for your household / bubble.
